Love is in the air…

photoWe are quickly headed towards the end of January and that means Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. Make sure you allow enough time to create something heartfelt for your special Valentine.

I’ve already made my card, after a moment of inspiration upon spying some heart shaped balloons tied up with ribbon on display in a store. I used my Fiskars That’s Amore squeeze punch and my Heart Pop-Up punch. After folding them in half for dimension, I glued them to the front on my card, drew in some ribbon lines with a pen and added a little ‘always‘ from the Sweetheart Clear Stamp Set.

I’ve been aviding pinning to the Fiskateer Valentine’s Inspiration board and here’s a little collage of some of my favorite pins.valentine collage

  1. Love the cards! Look quick and simple if I have to mass produce for a classroom and not too much for kids. Of course, I could just stamp Happy Heart Day. . . . Hmmm. . . . Scones in the oven. I MADE clotted cream! And it tastes like the stuff I packed with my ice packs and my meds to bring home from England! :o)

    1. Wow good for you Suzi! We tried to make clotted cream once – it took hours I seem to remember, and we weren’t very successful. I’m glad you managed yours! But the BIG question is….which do you put on your scone first…the jam or the cream!?!?!

  2. Oh I am so going to check out your board. . . I love those peaks and I still need to make that card and maybe a couple more! :0)
