It's a beautiful day here in CT and should be a HOT one. I was hoping to go to the beach, am I crazy??? The beach on the 4th of July???
We went to the fireworks last night and both kids are still sleeping so our plans might change from the beach to the pool.

Good Morning KJ! I hope you have a wonderful day. We heard the fireworks last night too hot to go out on the deck to watch them. I would love to go to the beach too, but 4th of July does not sound like a good idea.I'm a flag waver, so I like to think about what this country means to me on the 4th. Happy 4th of July!!I'm just relaxing for now before I head over to my parents' house for the day. My parents always have a big party on the 4th with both sides of the family. If everyone comes, there will be over 40 people there. A lot of fun and photo opps. I love to watch all the kids having fun. It's going to be hot here too!!! Judy |

Stars and Stripes are up! Going over to daughter's for a bbq and to UB for the best fireworks around! It's hot here too Kelly in Lkpt....going to 90 today. Thankfully there's a breeze and not too much humidity! Have a Happy Fourth of July everyone!

Hi there Kelly Jothe shore on a holiday weekend. It wouldn't be my choice. I am sure it will be very crowded. and hot. We will probably hang out around our pool although the water temp has dropped a bit. We are having a mix of sun and clouds and a good breeze today. So at the moment quite comfortable. Good morning KJBob is working at the pizzeria all day, Kathy will probably go to Grand Island with her BF to Fantasy Island (AKA a local theme park for those who aren't from WNY) and me... well... I hope you guys have a great time - take lots of pictures! It is 1:30 and I am still in my jammies. I am washing up some dishes, hubby is grilling and then I am crafting and doing the current blog challenge and the 2 Message Board challenges. Camp Nana resumes the day after tomorrow, so I have to get some craft supplies ready for that. No Fireworks for this girl. The 4th means that I get to have my hubby home an extra day - we love just hanging out together no matter what we do or don't do. It's a HOT & HUMID one here too....We had a family BBQ yesterday..ALL 3 sons and girlfriends !! That rarely happens !! Today, I am working on my scrap room in the air conditioning !! I HAVE to have it all done BEFORE I leave for Maine in 12 days so it is my priority !! Sue, it was Corporation Beach and we will be there in 13 days!!!We opted not to go to the beach because both kids were tired from staying up late last night. (Well worth it though) Enjoyed our 4th with a cookout and played in the pool here. Next time I'm inviting PInky and her baked goods. It was a great holiday and I'm very proud to be an American!!! _____________________________ |
