You know we had beautiful amazing fluffy snow lastnight, and I was so hoping for more or for it to stay, but the rain washed it all away by morning!
So off to school I go to take the boys in....
maybe I will be baking today, I know I will be makign chicken pot pie for dinner!
Hubster is having problems today his hands stopped working yesterday, so it is going to be a trying week. But it could be worse :)

Well so far it isn't doing anything outside. We're supposed to get a light snow but that's it. Maybe 5 cm. Right now it's 25 F. I'm heading out to do some shopping today.I'm so sorry to hear that your hubby is having some problems this week. I do hope it clears up for him. I have a SIL with MS as well as a GF. My SIL was diagnosed 21 yrs ago and it seems to mostly affect her legs. Good morning pinky..it is mild her here today.It is k-1 and the wind chill is -8.That is alot better than what we had last week.last week it was -19 and the wind chill was -22 and it was windy.We also have light flurries here today.We had a light dusting of snow overnight.It was just enogh to make the roads slippery._____________________________ Joan Nova Scotia Canada |

Snowing...again. Means the roads are bad...which makes me nervous about heading out to the doctor (BIG ultrasound today!). Also, DH will be late home from school as the buses will have trouble. ARGH. Well woke up first thing to check for school closings. We only got about 3 inches of snow and it did not stick to the road..but because the temp went down to 4 over night there is alot of sneaky ice. This morning it was 6 degrees and windchill was -4. They cancel school if the actual gets below zero so we was close. As far as the week. Well I have kiddos out of school half day on wed thru Monday for the holiday..and they squeezed in PTC so we have that on Wed. So we will see Going to mother and Grandmothers house to rad the cedar chest :P which is alway fun. and to have lasgena (sp) night .. got up this morning and checked the news, even though we had about 5 inches already and we are supposed to have more. Got everyone here and then they announce an early out. Yippie I think as we were supposed to have conferences but those have also been postponed until next week. Now I get to do some creative scheduling as I have a church board meeting next week and am chairperson of that. Will have to see what I can get the board to agree to doing for the meeting. My girls will be surprised to see me, right now they are not getting out early. The good thing is I can take them to the game and don't have to worry about Sarah driving on the snow and icey roads. Hi are Pinky!I am still recovering from our trip to Kenya. I can't believe a week (and two weeks) ago I was HOT and all around me was grass, lions, elephants, zebras, monkeys, hippos, cheetas etc. Now I look outside and it is COLD, beautiful big snowflakes coming down! We are to get 4-6 inches of snow today but schools are open. I have email, snail mail, laundry, valentine cards, etc to make or do, but all I really want to do is visit with friends and be on this website! We are getting a lite fluffy snow today. It started during the night and is still going. It's expected to snow until tomorrow. My son keeps hoping for a snow day but I keep reminding him we live just outside Chicago, so to get a snow day here requires a blizzard!!Dot #6703 |

It's snowing here again. We had 5.5 inches over night and supposed to have another 4 before it ends. This season we have had over 36 inches of snow so far. For me it's going to be a quiet day. Last night Kevin had brought home some things from work so I helped him carry it in because it was snowing and I came in our backdoor and took the 2 steps up into our kitchen and sat the stuff I had down and stepped off the stairs back onto the landing to go down the basement stairs. Luckily Kevin was standing blocking the basement stairs because when I hit the tile floor I fell and hit the backdoor handle on my way down. My right side and back are all bruised up. The worst bruise is right where my shoulder and arm meet and under my arm. Today it's really sore. Luckily nothing is broken, though. I have 35 ATC's to make and may try to cut them out today. I'll have to see. Nothing exciting for the week here. I'm counting the days until the 20th. Kevin and I went to get our glasses this past weekend and even though walk-in's are welcome they had no time to take any more so we made an appt. for the 20th. I found a couple pairs I already like and can't wait to get new ones. I did try something I thought I'd never do and send in a couple of things to see for publication. I did it on a spur of the moment whim which is so unlike me. Lol Now I'll just wait to see if they're interested. _____________________________ My Blog

Hi Pinkyhope your hubby is doing better no school again today here - I haven't been there since the early dismissal on Friday. With the possibility of 20 more inches, there is little hope of any school this week. time will tell. We'll be making up these days in June - no extra days built into our calendar.
