CHA Roundup

Last week was buuuusy! The Fiskars booth was buzzing with crafts, demos and giveaway activities.

First, the Fiskars booth looked simply stunning! One half of the booth was the ‘craft room’ set up with plenty of orange handled tools, inspiration boards, different materials, textiles and art work. The other half (the side shown in the photo below) depicted the ‘home’ – filled with lots of gorgeous handmade items. Much of the work in this room was created by Fiskars designer Smitha Katti. See that gorgeous mixed media canvas above the fireplace? Beautiful! Here’s how to make your own!IMG_1920 And here’s a close up of her ‘Oh Happy Day’ mixed media banner, strung across the mantle. Again, instructions on how to make your own.IMG_1922Later this year, Fiskars will be celebrating its 365th birthday, so there was some early birthday party fun including cupcakes! (orange of course)…..giveaways and surprise gifts!CHA collage1There was also a scissor engraver who engraved 100 pairs of Amplify Mixed Media 8″ Shears for attendees. Make that 101. :-)IMG_1985Lots of fun had by all, which took the edge off the aching feet, inky hands and a hoarse voice!

  1. CHA is always fun and exhausting.. The booth looked amazing and I am sure you guys worked you poor little feet off! I am sure that you guys enjoyed the comfort of those chairs now and then!

  2. Getting those engraved scissors must have been the best thing ever, a true one of a kind that could not be bought! Glad you had fun!

  3. Fiskars booth was the place to be. So generous. Everyone got cupcakes and scissors whether you were a winner of their drawings or not. Oh, and the many gifts given out every hours was fabulous! Many ladies went home having won thousands of dollars of great Fiskars tools. Thanks to all who pulled your booth together and gave so much!
