Stephenie Hamen, Fiskateer #003, was one of the founding 4 lead Fiskateers. Stephenie served a 2 year term and then had the opportunity to move over to the corporate side for Fiskars in Madison, WI. Stephenie is the Design and Consumer Education Manager and has been with the company internally for 2 years now. Stephenie takes care of the content you see on our website in the activities section for both crafting and gardening, is in charge of video production, and provides educational support inside and outside of Fiskars, just to name a couple of things. Stephenie is a Master Gardener, as well as crafter, and is always busy learning new tips and techniques for both areas of the business.

When it comes to crafting, scrapbooking is still Stephenie's favorite activity, but other paper art projects are a source of fun and creativity as well. Stephenie's garden passions lie with growing edibles, primarily veggies from her backyard, and then bringing them inside to create delicious dinners.

Stephenie is still married to Matt and her two boys, Owen and Jacob, are growing like weeds. Her family now resides just outside Madison, WI and she is settling into life in a small town. You might be able to take the girl out of Chicago, but you will never take Chicago out of the girl. That is why the Cubs, Bears, and Blackhawks are still her hometown teams and Lou Malnati's pizza is still her favorite. She still tries to visit when she can, but Wisconsin is definitely growing on her and she is quickly embracing it as home.
