Hello dear friends. I want to start by sharing a favorite quote of mine and something that really rang true of Brave Girl Camp.

I’m a Brave Girl! Hello dear fiskateers. I’m so so excited to share with you about my experience at Brave Girl Camp. It was an experience of a lifetime. I am positive that I cannot completely express all the ways that Brave Girl Camp has touched my heart and my life. Absolutely incredible! Life changing! […]
Recycled Curtains
I have a few sets of old tab top curtains that I no longer use and my craft room needs curtains. Problem is that my craft room has plain white curtain rod holders. FYI: Tab top curtains don’t look great on plain curtain rods.
Buying new curtains really isn’t in the budget so what’s a crafter […]
Valentine’s Day Wreath
What better way to spend a snow day than crafting? First project on my crafty agenda, a Valentine’s Day wreath for the front door.
Here are my supplies (a wreath, 2 bunches of daisy flowers, some ribbon, 3 Valentine’s picks, and a beaded heart garland):
To start, I put my little helper to work cutting the stems […]
Meet the Double Stitch Twins!
It’s time for give-a-way straight from the Craft Super Show.
I met the Double Stitch Twins yesterday, Erika and Monika Simmons. It’s safe to say that these ladies were a stitch!… I mean they really cracked me up. They were finishing each others sentences and were oh so perky! I absolutely loved meeting them. Check out what they […]

Once I finished my seed packets (and my apron, more on that later!) for the Fiskateer Garden Party, I was very motivated and kept my crafty mojo going by finishing up some crafty projects that I had started.
And what better project than to finish this orange and green charm bracelet?
It, along with my apron and […]

Christmas is just 6 days away; I have a walking Christmas countdown and she is Very Excited! So it seems like now is the time to finishing decorating, starting with the wreath on the front door.
I started with a plain wreath, some red holly berry sprigs, some small ornaments, Fiskars wire cutters and Fiskars wrapped […]
Tona’s Christmas Spider
I shared how Tona sent me a beautiful bejeweled Christmas spider along with The Legend of the Christmas Spider. So many of You asked for a tutorial, and Tona was happy (and quick) to oblige. So here’s Tona’s gift to You.

This time, Emily and I made a beaded ornament together. To get started, Mommy cut the jewelry wire to around 10″ with Fiskars’ wire cutters. Using the bent nose pliers, I curled one end of the wire to keep the beads from falling off. The next step was to start threading the beads and I […]
