Brave Girl Camp Update ~ Dressed for the Event

Hello all,
Again, I’m so eager to share with you the part we play as a community and company but also the experience at Brave Girl Camp. Some of you even shared in your comments and emails that you have been pondering going. I highly encourage you to do so . . . you will come back refreshed, changed and inspired. I can’t wait to share more.
So, yesterday I’m driving home from work and I get a text from a friend and a fiskateer sharing with me to check out another fiskateer friends Facebook post. So I did and it said . . . “This is for you . . . for all you do”. There was a photo of a beautiful knitted orange and green scraft for Brave Girl Camp.
I began to cry as I’m going down the road. It was raining hard and with the tears in my eyes, I couldn’t see the road very well so I had to pull over. This special fiskateer used her beautiful crafty skills and gifted me with something very dear. Incredible! It means so much and my heart is so touched! So touched by both of these women. One was the messenger and the other the gifter. I love that it is handcrafted and that I will have a piece of this beautiful gal with me. I was so surprised! It warmed my heart so much!
I love when I receive cards, gifts and handmade items, even food from you fiskateers. There is nothing like it! So I wanted to share with you. Isn’t this absolutely too sweet? It’s beautiful! I’m now properly fisk-a-dressed for the occasion and will carry the thoughts of fiskateers and these two women close to my heart.
I did tell her that if I shared with the community about this that she’d have 6,900 fiskateers banging down her door for one.
So I want to say a big shout out and a big thank you! Thank you Sonja and Sylvia! I love you both. I love all you fiskateers!
