It was a Very Fancy Party!

Emily’s 4th birthday was Friday (I seriously can’t believe it!) and it has been a week-end long extravaganza. She had a party at preschool and then we went our for dinner at her favorite restaurant where she was treated like royalty. Friday was very special…
but Saturday’s party was very fancy.
Emily helped decorate in the morning and she helped transform the light fixture into a very elegant chandelier with a few inexpensive beaded necklaces. When the guests arrived in their best party attire they each received a boa and they looked exquisite. We read a few Fancy Nancy books. We enjoyed juice in a punch cup on a doily decorated table. We even decorated our own pink frosted cupcakes with several different colors of sugary sprinkles. It was all very fancy.
Another special treat was that Emily received a very special birthday card from a “Secret Friend”.
I’ve made a spinner card before so Emily knew her special card must have been from one of Mommy’s scrapbooking friends, but I wouldn’t tell her who because it was a ’secret’. She asked me to tell her secret friend “Thank You” for her, so “Thank You, Secret Friend”, You made one little girl very, very happy with your Fancy Nancy spinner birthday card.
