Back in January we announced that Fiskars was going “Back to Our Roots” to focus on producing tools for their school, office, gardening and crafting lines. This meant that Fiskars would no longer be producing consumable products like papers, stickers, rub-on’s and etc. When this announcement was made several months ago, a lot of us were asking ourselves “What would happen to our favorite lines like Heidi Grace and Cloud 9?”
Fiskars understands how the designs of these lines became such a big part in developing our own personal crafting styles in the past that they have found a solution to help keeping these lines available to scrapbookers everywhere. So it was just announced that Fiskars has released both the Heidi Grace and Cloud 9 product lines to Colorbök, Inc.
With this transition, the Fisk-a-neers and product developers are now focusing on creating new tools that will help make all of our crafting and gardening projects become works of art. The gang at Fiskars will continue to send out exclusive surveys to the Fiskateers about future tool designs that will help them understand the things that we look for in purchasing their products, what matters to us the most.
In-between these surveys, we want remind the Fiskateer community that we do also have an “Idea Engine” located on the Fiskateer message board. This is an exclusive communication between the Fiskateer community and the designers of the company to let them know what shapes, features and ideas we would love to see in future Fiskars tools. We encourage every Fiskateer to take advantage of the Idea Engine on our website. You never know that some of your ideas may just might be displayed on store shelves just like those orange handled scissors that we have all come to love!
