Alive and Misplaced

Greetings Fiskateers.  I know you haven’t heard from me in a while.  I’ve been down and out physically and pretty sick with bronchitis (fever and all).  But I’m on the mend with some good antibiotics and such.

I know at this moment there is a group of fun fiskateers gathered at the Virginia City, NV Fiskafriendzy.  You see, I was suppose to be in attendance before I got sick.  I am doing much better than I was although I am still sick and don’t have much of a voice.  But I will miss being with the fiskateers there but can’t wait to hear an update!  I know Angela has much fun planned for those in attendance.

You know, I have to thank those that knew I was sick and sent sweet emails, cards and happy mail.  I know that Tona sent along some happy mail just because and it was the perfect timing . . . was such an encouragement.  My family has enjoyed!  I think their favorite although they have loved each one . . . the Apple Pie jam. I hope there is some left for me when I’m well and eating normal.  Thank you Tona . . . that was so thoughtful!

Thank you all for being such a caring group.

So while I was thinking of where I was suppose to be, I was also thinking about the countdown to my own local Southern California Fiskafriendzy.  I’m grateful that I’m one that likes to get things done quite ahead of time otherwise I’d be really stressed.  But I’ve been trying to really rest and get well to be 100% for my event.  I am still struggling but doing better with antibiotics and other meds.  I am so excited about next weekend!

I was also thinking about Christmas . . . the countdown to Christmas . . . can you believe it . . . 46 days, 2 hours and 28 minutes.  So if you are planning on working on some handcrafted items . . . now is the time to start!  Happy Crafting everyone.  Christmas is just around the corner.

Happy Crafting to all and to all a goodnight!

Each time someone mentions Christmas I get this guilty feeling. I haven’t started my Christmas cards yet. Mostly lack of inspiration and mostly because I’m a huge procrastinator. Nothing like a deadline to work with. I’m hoping to get all my cards sent by the 1st of December. Wish me luck.
