Fisk-a-Frame

I finally had a chance to complete my Frame Project from the New England Fisk-a-Friendzy. I think it turned out very cute, and I especially LOVE the photo.
I made this using Kimberly Poloson’s Cabana Blooms papers, alphas and flocked labels; a fingertip swivel craft knife, Fiskars adhesive and a wooden frame (I added some ribbon and buttons, too.). I glued the paper to the frame, used the swivel craft knife to cut out the window part of the frame and trim off any excess paper. Then I lightly sanded the edges for a smooth look. Embellish as desired and it’s done. This project makes a perfect gift or in this case, a perfect momento from a Fisk-a-Fabulous Day! I Love the Cabana Blooms line because it’s perfect for Fiskateers, Orange and Green!

Thanks for the tips on how to do this project, the sanding helps make it look finished (I wondered about that when I saw the frames at the local store.)
