Me. Stephenie. I broke out the sewing machine and had a hay day!!!
I made my friend Shelly a Wisconsin themed can coozie…
Then I made Nikki a bag with a pocket and myself a cute little tote as well…
They look a tad homemade, but I still had fun…
Maybe this is the start of something new…
Okay - gotta run!

September 4th, 2008 at 2:53 pmYou did a GREAT job! Man do I wish I could sew…truth is, I can barely put on buttons! The one fabric so reminds me of the HG Midnight kisses line!

September 4th, 2008 at 2:57 pmLook sweet to me. Your material is lovely. Maybe I should take the plunge and try my hand at a small project. It has been so long since I did any sewing other than repairing seams and patching. These looks like fun projects!

September 5th, 2008 at 12:19 amCongrats! I love your projects! By chance, did you use the tote bag instructions on the Fiskars website? I’m thinking of making a bag with those instructions - just got my fabric yesterday!

September 5th, 2008 at 8:57 pmI LOVE the fabrics you chose - very classy!! They look great Steph! My sewing is limited to paper crafting - it’s an old old machine given to me when my good machine broke…I have no desire to sew clothes or actualy fabric projects with it. (LOL)

Well done. We are thinking alike… I’ve bought my sewing machine back inside from the garage and sewing too. I have some things in my gallery now.

September 7th, 2008 at 3:44 pmWhere has time gone when I sewed…
The days are not long enough it seems. You did a great job. I bought a tote bag for 10 dollars in a second hand shop. Nobody knew what it was and when I explained what it was, the time and money it takes to make this they where aghast! Then again…. they were bored housewives who thought a day helping at the opshop was the “nice” thing to do for their community. I giggled all the way home with my treasure I can tell you.My quilt sits in it nicely.
Have a great weekend.
