Back To School Project Idea

It’s that time of year again. Store shelves are filled with the latest fashion clothing trends, crayons, book bags, spiral notebooks and Fiskars scissors.
Here in my home town, students will be returning to school next week. Although I am single and don’t have any children of my own, one thing I know for sure… there will be thousands of photos are taken on the first day of school. Whether it’s parents taking photos of their children climbing those big school bus steps for the first time or the teenager snapping photos on their cell phones of friends they haven’t seen all summer, the first day of school is always caught on film.
And since I don’t have any children of my own to create a scrapbook page of this special day, I’ve decided to create a page in advance for one of the employees at my store. All she has to do is add a photo of her daughter Kayln’s first day of Pre-K to the layout.
So, perhaps my Back to School page will inspire you to share your talents with a family member or a friend who has yet to discover the craft of scrapbooking. It’s just another way for ”Fiskateers to Spread the Fiskars Love!”

August 15th, 2008 at 1:30 amVery cute. My sister has 2 sons returning to school…and does not scrapbook! Since my own sons are grown, perhaps a “nudge for the nephews” is just what she might need.
