Highlights of CHA

I have to share . . . while the travels were a bit bumpy . . . like I mentioned . . . my time at CHA was priceless.

While I was pondering as to what the highlights were of my trip . . . it was easy to find numerous things.  I have to say that getting to know new friends and meet Fiskateers face to face (after much email interaction) had to be at the top of my list.  It’s always incredible and to complete that relationship by meeting many that have become friends via email . . . to now meet them in person is priceless.  I loved the sweet and thoughtful gifts.  Each gift so thoughtful and meaningful.  Check out Betsy’s scissor charm.  She’s going to share in her gallery the how to.  The time with these gals . . . precious!  Absolutely precious.  It was fun seeing Fiskateers being reunited as well (reunited and it feels so good - can’t you hear it?).  Some of the Nifty Fifty gals getting to see each other again.

The ‘Rock, Paper, Trimmer’ was a huge buzz at the show!!!  So many enjoyed showing me the sign and joined in on the buzz . . .

I just love this photo of this man that came by the Heidi Grace booth to make a make and take.  He was so excited to do so and I shared about the Fiskateer community.  He was so enthusiastic.  I don’t know his name, I just know he was a bright spot in my day.  Of course getting to see my favorite Fiskars rep too . . . John G.  He’s a great guy and has been selling Fiskars over 17 years.

I really enjoyed getting to also spend a little time with the new leads.  A wonderful bunch who is thoughtful, talented and enthusiastic and I’m grateful to be working with them.  My roommate was Kelly Jo and a sweet one she was!  She even left me a sweet note that welcomed me after a long journey to Chicago.  I enjoyed our talks in the evening!

It was also special to meet Stephenie’s (Fiskateer #003) mom, Donna who has always sent me the sweetest emails.  I also of course enjoyed getting to see Stephenie again (#002 and #003 together again. . . could be a song).

I thoroughly enjoyed the Fiskateer dinner.  It was such a fun time of fellowship, prizes, enthusiasm, reunion, new friendships, cultivating established friendships and just a ton of fun!  I loved getting to know my tablemates a little better as well . . . Amber, Jeni, and Bettye.  Oh what a wonderful group of ladies!  Hugs to you.   It was fun seeing my So. Cal buds too.  :)

Of course a highlight is always playing with the new goodies.  Oh you’re going to love! 

Getting to see some favorite folks as well.  Jenni Bowlin and I have emailed so many times and it’s just wonderful to see her at the show.  She is such a sweetheart and doesn’t she look great?  Just love her booth! Another favorite booth I love to visit is Beaux Regards . . . the ribbon displayed is always luscious.  I love ribbon!

I love being with my Fiskars and Fiskateer family including the employees and the designers . . . Heidi Grace, Amy from Cloud 9, Tricia and Brian from Lil’ Davis.  Great people, great company, great event. I feel so blessed.

And receiving some of the sweetest homecoming emails . . . Janice and others.  It just touches me so much and I’m grateful for such a wonderful community. My heart is full!!!

So in light of the CHA spirit . . .     wow! It looked like you had such a wonderful time. Over here in australia we do not get anything even remotely like the CHA. I went to one of the few expos this year that was in sydney and there were 6 stalls in papercraft alley!! Maybe oneday i will come to the US to experiance the CHA myself.
