First off, I LOVE the heidi grace beyond the sea line, and I’m loving it in action too. Last weekend I took a basic grey luggage tag chipboard book + some beyond the sea embellishments and aquarium photos with me. the Scrapbook Shop (St Paul) had all the papers and other stuff I didn’t have - so I was able to buy a few sheets of paper and work on this book.
One of my biggest tips to people packing for a retreat or crop is to remember that you do NOT have to bring everything. I’ll be adding ribbons and other do-dads to my book here at home. (and will share in fiskateer gallery once it’s all shiny and new!!) See- while at the crop I got out my trusty fingertip craft knife, sanded paper edges, adhered photos, and did all I could. The big bonus? I didn’t drag ribbons and buttons and such across the country and back. Nope. They stayed here and I got to travel a bit lighter. Good thing- because with all the fiskars love i had in my bag? I had no more room!
