Our Life
Created by Gretchen Schmidt
I created a special mini-album to highlight our family’s life in March. It’s an acrylic album with 12” x 6” pages. For my initial stack of papers, I held them together using a bull clip and then used my craft drill to create the four holes. I used the acrylic album cover as a guide. Some of the pages are layered with the Sunrise Smoothie patterned papers where the holes are; for those I repunched the circle using my hand punch. I used the Threading Water Border Punch (I love this punch!) on the bottom of each page to give it a little flair. All other page edges I rounded off using the Round the Corner Punch. Throughout the album, there are smaller flip pages inside. I used pre-cut papers from the Double Mat Stack. To create these, I used my tape runner to adhere the backs of two papers together. It made these smaller pages come together quickly. I used tabs from the Thought Starter Stickers on each of those smaller flip pages to help turn them easier. Throughout the album, I decorated pages and photos with Thought Starter Stickers, Borders & littleBIG Words stickers, and Chipboard stickers.
This project was so fun to create and even though I used a lot of different supplies, it came together easily. It’s just a matter of doing things in steps.
