I was absolutely thrilled with the Kimberly Poloson “Cabana Blooms” line that May sent me to play with (thank you FISKARS!!). The gorgeous colors, patterns and velvety flocking just screamed “create something wonderful” to me…well at least that’s what I heard….lol.
I started by making an album with a flower on the front, got sidetracked into making a whole bouquet of flowers (just because they were so FUN) and then came back to finish my album. What I didn’t realize when I started the album though, is that although I wanted to do an album of my husband and myself…I had very few pictures of the two of us together!!!! Egads!!!! I am sure there are many, many scrappers out there like me, please tell me I am not the only one..lol! I have photos of me, of him, of me and the kids, of the kids and him and so on….but next to none of the two of us together!!! I created the first section of the album with only two photos of the two of us together but have made it a priority to schedule some “us” photo shoots over the next several months so I can finish this album off!
Soooooo….If you find yourself in the same predicament as me, no photos of the two of you together, please consider this a challenge to “shine the spot light/camera” on you and your significant other…..together!!!

I know exactly where you are coming from re the photos and not having enough together - i guess it is easier to take photos yourselves than get someone else to take them of us LOL.

June 4th, 2008 at 5:30 pmI totally know what you mean about not having any “together” photos. Someone has to hold the camera so almost all of the “together” pics we do have are ones taken with one of us pointing the camera at us at arm’s length. Beeeyooootiful.
