challenge: tradition

307.JPG What inspired me: We took a trip to a local fair a few days ago, and all the usual sights and sounds and smells (and tastes!) were there. I loved every moment from the 4-H kids to the cotton candy to the pony ride. There are certian things I do and see at any fair… things I should probably scrapbook! (FYI- that’s a photo of E & R’s first ever ride on a horse!)

Challenge: Create a NEW scrapbook layout OR mini-book centered around a family tradition/celebration that takes place any time April - August. Be sure to utilize great journaling to tell your story!!

to enter: Post on-line and then post a comment here and link us to your project. Deadline is May 29th. Winner will be announced (and showcased here on blog!) on may 31st during the ‘pajama party’ crop.

prize: MINIMUM of 3 entries will be drawn at random to receive grab bags of fun Fisk-a-goodness.

    Oh my!! I can’t believe she is big enough to get up on a horse! Wowzers! What a darling photo. We enjoy going to our fair every year as well. I’ve yet to scrap a photo of it. I’ll have to decide which tradition to do. Great challenge!

    Good idea May! I will have to give this some thought and think of something that is rather quirky - I think we have a number of quirky traditions in our family. (LOL)

    Cute. I remember the first time my daughter got on a pony. She threw a fit when it was time to get down. She loved it.

    Here is my layout for our CAMPING tradition. We go every summer with Grandpa, Aunts, Uncles, and lots of cousins. My kids look forward to this every year! My son is the baby in the pictures. He was 4 months old. Can’t wait to see all of your tradions!

    Hi-just posted my tradition layout. This rosebush is 37 years old, we planted it when we first moved here. I wear a rose from it every Mother’s Day.
