Have you seen Heidi Grace’s baby line? SO adorable for tiny girls or boys. To help inspire ideas for this line I’ve asked not just 3, but 4 fiskateers to share some projects…
Jen B #258~ I loved playing with the new Heidi Grace baby line of papers, stamps, and embellishments. I have lots of photos of my daughter Kylie that need to be scrapbooked and these are some of my favorite baby pictures. She looks so innocent and beautiful at 3 months old.
I used several fiskars punches- including Heart of Hearts circle border punch for a journal circle, oopsie daisy squeeze punch, and A Tisket, A Tasket corner and border punch for the photo border. I trimmed off the outside edge of the punched border to give it a rounded border. I used the Heidi Grace Baby stamps and the Heidi Grace basic alphabet stamps. I colored them all in with my watercolor pencils. I also used my Lacy Days of Summer border punch and my Read Between the Vines corner and border punches. Both of these punches weren’t my favorites when I first saw them but now that I have them, I love them! They are all perfect little embellishments. I LOVE this whole line. It was so much fun to play with!!

My second page was done with the Heidi Grace flocked clouds paper. I punched a white cardstock border using my A Tisket, A Tasket border punch and trimmed the outside edge off. This is my favorite way to use this punch since it gives it a softer edge. I used one of the Heidi Grace baby stamps and colored the flowers in with watercolor pencils. I love the journal mounts and the punch board hearts. The large glitter flowers are so pretty, especially layered over the extra large Oopsie Daisy squeeze punch. I punched the corners of the journaling block with my Read Between the Vines corner and border punch. The journaling reads: “Fourty weeks and counting. We’re not positive you’re a girl but we are hoping. Right now you look like a basketball”
Jennifer #1634- Let me just say that I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the new Heidi Grace baby line. It is not only adorable, but unique and perfect for either boy or girl. There are so many great papers, alphabets, and fun embellishments to dress up your pages.
My first layout highlights the 3D ultrasound pictures we had taken. Everything is from the baby line, except the letter stamps. I used the threading water punch with a small strip of white cardstock underneath to show off the punch a bit. I used the Heidi Grace clear baby stamps (which are beyond adorable) for the stamped images on the lower left corner and above the title. I love the journaling block stickers that are available - various sizes, depending on how much you need to say. I also used a few of the chipboard photo corners from the line to highlight the first and last photos. I used the stamp press to stamp the title, which was SO much easier than stamping each letter individually with an acrylic block.
My second layout highlights a single maternity photo. Since the photo is black and white, I wanted to use a lot of color on the layout. I liked the ribbon border around the half circle (which I used to go along with the round belly!) The ribbon is part of the collection as well, and matches the papers perfectly. I love the little glitter hearts and they come in both pink and blue. I outlined the letters in the title to highlight them a bit and then used a journaling block sticker for my journaling. Scraplifting from a fellow fiskateer, I used the comma, comma, comma chameleon punch to make the little birds on the right. I LOVE these birds and have been using them on everything.
I’m looking forward to using the rest of my baby line scraps to scrap this little bean when she arrives…which could be any moment now!

Shelley May #2662- I literally ooohed and aahhhed outloud to myself at home when this package arrived. The Miss Heidi Grace has outdone herself - once again. The colors are so soft and the designs are just adorable. Though it is a baby line, most of the products can be used for Spring, birthdays, or everyday celebrations. I used some of the adorable diecut cardstock stickers as embellishments where I would have normally used flowers. I also loved the little tags in the line, which I used in the upper right hand corner for a little bit of journaling.
I kept the layout very simple and linear. I also used some stitching on the LO which you will see in the photo matte on the top left. No need to stitch perfectly straight in this case. I went around the square two times and purposely did not keep my lines straight. I think it’s a fun embellishment that adds a little texture to the page. What’s nice about this new line - is you can pick up any one of the pastel colors to coordinate. I also inked the edges of everything for added dimension.
Tina Mayo #457 ~ On this layout my main focus my sweet Bella, I call her my little punkin, I know everyone says I misspelled pumpkin, but I call her punkin. On this layout I used the Heidi Grace cloud paper, with the chipboard alphas on top. I also used the chipboard photo corners and tabs. I used the photo decor rub ons on my pictures, and the dimensional flower stickers , and the other glitter flowers with brads. Then I doodled around the pictures and embellishments to make them stand out. This is a technique I have grown to love and it an easy way to accent anything.
aren’t these so sweet? Know what else is sweet? Winning some of the products used in these pages! Just leave a comment here to be entered… may will contact winner via e-mail.

Niecia #3006 says:
May 8th, 2008 at 11:43 pmOK so I really didn’t like that “heard it through the vines” corner boarder punch with the picture that is on the package, but when I saw it on actual paper I just loved it so when I went to buy it, it was no longer on sale for 40% off, but I got it anyway.
Niecia #3006 says:
May 8th, 2008 at 11:46 pmOoops! Yea I meant “Read between the vines” not heard it through the vines like grape vines. Maybe that is what my mind was thinking. Who cares I like the punch anyways.
Deborah says:
May 9th, 2008 at 1:09 pmAll of these lo’s are great for baby inspiration! I hate to admit this but I have not completed all baby layouts for my girls, but that is because I have never been able to find just the right paper that I think will work for me. This line looks like it could do just what I am looking for, soft colors but not too pastel looking. Can’t wait to look for it in my lss if they will be carrying it. Thanks ladies!
