I’m sure you’ve notice I’ve been laying low lately, I won’t bore you with the details, I’ll just say that things are getting a little rough here in my llast weeks of pregnancy and I am anxiously awaiting the birth of my baby. Tomorrow I get to go have another ultrasound to see how big his is and I am so excited just to get another look at him- they also may give me a date for induction and that would be fine with me!
Since I have been stuck in my bed I have been trying to come up with a great new contest for all of you Fiskateers- and I think it’s finally come to me-
How would you like a Fiskars ‘Party in a Box’ to arrive on your doorstep so you can have 10 of your best friends over for your very own private craft party and when it’s all over leave with all of the tools and fun things packed up in the box? Doesn’t that sound like fun? And wouldn’t it be a shame if there was only one ‘Party’ box being delivered? That’s right, there are multiple chances of winning! Stay tuned, tomorrow I will announce all of the details!

January 31st, 2008 at 12:04 pmI hope the appointment goes well tomorrow. I know exactly what you’re going through right now (my third son was almost 12 pounds!). If the doctor thinks you’re ready, they may be able to do some small things to try to induce labor (without medicine).
And the “Party in a Box” sounds intriguing…I’m looking forward to hearing more!

I hope you get some good news today at the ultrasound. I’m 24 weeks into my 2nd pregnancy and feel pretty lucky that it has been rather easy and uneventful. I’m thinking of you and your wee one!

You take care, I know it’s hard to be patient the last few weeks especially, but being induced is no picnic either! I know from experience, so try to let nature take it’s course. I’m sure everything will go great and as soon as you hold your little guy, anything you went through will disappear! (I know that’s hard to believe, but trust me!)
