3 fiskateers- ornaments #1

Ornaments- I’ve long had a love of Christmas trees and ornaments, and when I saw these cloud 9 frames I just knew they could be perfect tree ornaments. they are simple acrylic squares with silver accents, and a piece of paper backing them (removeable!) with a hole to put your photo (or word, or…) But how to decorate them? What to do? Well I’ve asked several fiskateers to share their ideas and I’ll be showing you what they’ve come up with in several posts…
Karen Compas #1637 used glitter stickers and some rhinestones (found in the Target $1 spot!) to accent her photos and make her ornaments sparkle. I like that she used black and white photos as well- very cute.
Meghan #1358 didn’t like the style of the backing on the frame, so she just removed it and replaced it with her own! She also attached several sheets of paper to make a mini-book out of the ornament. How clever is that? It’s a great reminder that you can always strip a product like this and customize it to your own style.
Sandy Bahn #514 used her ornaments to decorate a calendar, and also the front of a gift. When the recipient is done with the gift, they can remove the ornament and hang it on their tree! How cool is that? Make it into more than just an ornament- it’s also a decorative gift item!
One lucky fiskateer will win 2 frames to decorate as they like… just leave a comment here to be entered!
