Art time and another challenge

Art time is a time that I cherish with my boys, as most of you well know!  We have lots of fun making a mess and creating.  Sometimes, stuff ends up in the garbage; sometimes it ends up on the fridge.  It just depends.  It is an important time to me.  I either create with them and help them make their projects or, I might be working on something myself, so I make sure that they can create next to me and with each other so that we can all be together.  I don’t always do that, don’t get me wrong… but with my crazy schedule, I feel like the time I have at home is so fleeting, that I want to share it with them as much as I can, even if I need to work on some scrappy stuff myself.

These are some pics I took of the boys making Matt’s Father’s Day cards.  They are just one set in a group of many crafting adventures that we have shared.  I won’t scrap each weekend crafting time, or even take pics of all of them, but I felt like it was important to scrap a few of them so that I document this time which is so precious to me.  This layout is about more than the paper and the pictures, it is about my boys, my life, my passion - all coming together beautifully.
