TODAY! Today is my due date… but no signs (or even hints) that Favrel is on her way. It’s been a long and at times hard journey, and within the next week the excitement and challenge of new baby will be here.
Right now I’m doing my best to enjoy having not one, but TWO helpful people on-call 24/7. Jason has been awesome- anything I want, all I have to do is ask. (of course he’s yet to deliver the baby for me… but other than that all requests met) AND of course my mom is here (to take care of Miss E while we’re delivering Favrel) so she’s been a great help too. She’s actually had some time to create art (she’s a professional artist) while here and I love seeing what she comes up with. I’ll have to share some photos if I remember!
Anyhow, the waiting is really taking a toll on us- just so want to have a happy, healthy baby in my arms. However the house has never been more clean. With all the nervous/excited energy around here everybody is keeping busy (to keep from going nuts!) doing anything from dusting to re-organizing closets.
Hope you are all having a great weekend… and that next time I blog I’ll be a new mom!!!!

Wouldn’t it be nice if Jason could take some of your labor pains for you. It takes two to make a baby, I think it would be nice if two could share in the labor pains. LOL
Wishing you a healthy delivery. =)

July 29th, 2007 at 2:26 pmAww, May, I remember those days. Not that you want to hear, but both of my kids wouldn’t come out and were forced out 2 weeks after my due date with Pitocin. I sure hope yours goes a whole lot faster!! I’ll keep my fingers crossed for ya.

July 29th, 2007 at 9:33 pmHello May.
Regards and best wishes to you and your family for the arrival of your new little bubs. Thinking of you and hope that all goes well…
Know what you mean about due dates and nothing happening.. my son (Nate aged 3yrs) was two week overdue before I was induced and that was after having stopped labour at 28 weeks.. my youngest (Kiah aged 4mths almost)was 1 week overdue and was booked in for an induction and she arrived the night before at 10.30pm.. think we scared her into finally coming…
Sending you happy thoughts and can’t wait to hear when bubs is here safe and sound.
Cheers Michelle

July 29th, 2007 at 10:18 pmYou must be SOOO excited! If you want to use some of that nesting instinct, by all means, come clean my house. It’s hard to get everything just how I want it with all my painful suckitude lately. But then, who am I to talk about pain when you’re about to go into labor, huh?
Best of luck for a magical and painless experience! I adore the name you chose!

July 29th, 2007 at 10:44 pmAwww May I think all the Fiskateers are anxious for you and your new little one. If she is anything like her mom she is probably working on a cool RAK or an awsome scrapbook page (that’s why she is taking so long to busy to come out LOL) You are in my thoughts and prayers cant wait to meet your new little bundle of joy.

Best wishes to you!
