Well my body is back home, and it’s going to be a few days of rest for this weary traveler! The retreat was FANTASTIC! Donna and the Sierra Scrap Escape crew are totally fantastic. Everyone was so friendly, helpful, and the retreat is in a truly restful, beautiful, and perfect spot. I suggest anyone who can and/or is in the area attends a retreat here! It’s something I’ll go back and do again for sure. In addition to all the good food, fun, games, prizes, and demos there was lots of time to craft. Fun!
Of course Miss E had a BLAST with grandma, her great grandparents, the dogs, and all the fun stuff including choo-choo trains and wagon rides! The only downside to my weekend was that I was sick (preggo sick, that is). It got so bad on Saturday afternoon that I actually had to stop and pack up. I was BEYOND disappointed to miss out on their super fun “diva” night… but health comes first and I needed to be in bed. Now before you tell me to take it easy please know that I do. I don’t push myself too hard, I get TONS of rest, etc. I take good care of me- so don’t worry.
Right now I’m off to fix lunch and then Miss E and I will enjoy a nice afternoon nap. Thanks again to all the awesome ladies at the retreat- I only wish I’d been able to hang with you all even more!! (next time!)
