Okay . . . I’m not a big card creator not because I don’t like to make them but most likely because I’m pressed for time. I have maybe made three cards in my lifetime (besides when I was a little girl). But I needed to make a few very quick cards to display as samples at a table. These took all of about seven minutes (total). Simple, quick but still handcrafted. I appreciate handcrafted cards and they mean a lot to me. So I encourage you all to bless some one with your gifts and a bit of time. You all have such great talent and I know someone else would be blessed by your efforts.
These cards were made out of some scraps, stamps, a few raindots, punches and staples.
Okay . . . I know us lead Fiskateers have been some busy gals . . . I still owe a few of of you some prizes . . . I’ll be traveling out of town for the weekend and then I’ll also be gone next weekend. Don’t worry . . . I haven’t forgotten. I thought I’d also encourage you folks to cause some buzz while we are gone. May is gone to a retreat, I’m headed to a retreat, Holly is having the time of her life and getting married and Stephenie is taking a little breather. So live it up gals. So while the blog is a bit quite . . . if you create a handcrafted card and load it to your gallery . . . let me know . . . I’ll put you in a pool for a random drawing.
Blessings to each for a wonderful weekend!
Craft on friends!

April 27th, 2007 at 3:15 pmGreat cards Cheryl. I love doing cards. I started stamping about 2 yrs ago this month. Since stamping, I have seriously neglected my scrapbooking. Since May’s crop I have done 3 layouts and am now on my 4th. I just entered 4 cards in my gallery as well as having one that I uploaded on April 22 during May’s online crop. I have 3 May birthday’s coming up to make cards for as well as my niece is expecting her third child in May.

April 28th, 2007 at 10:38 amLove your cards! might have to try these.
I started a few years back making cards for family and friends. Now, if I slip and buy a card, I hear about it. People love to get a handmade card and will get used to having them!

I love your cards. The stamps you used are great.
I posted a card I made today along with one my 5 year old son made a few nights ago. He is keeping his and I will probably give mine to a nephew.
Have a great weekend!
