Well today was a whirlwind! Right now Miss E is perched on my lap just ready to go to ‘night-night’. We had a great day, and I can hardly believe that in 24hrs I’ll be in the air (reading one of my new books!!!) headed to CHA. wow. Where did January go?
Well, today I had to think about getting ready for this huge trip (haven’t had the time before!) so we (E and I) enjoyed some leisurely shopping in town. I was about to cry because I could NOT find any decent comfortable shoes.. and then (duh) I realized that Clark is a shoe brand… and that it was the ONE outlet store I hadn’t yet tried. JACKPOT!!! Not only did I find these clogs that are like squishy pillows of heaven, but also these flip flops. Yeah, the flip flops are fleece lined. Talk about preggo heaven!!! Now I must say I LOOOVVVEEEE shoes. (sigh) Yeah, they are a girl’s best friend. I was so surprised and delighted to find TWO pairs today. Must have been my lucky day!
Anyhow, after we got home I had a minor panic that I’m soooo not ready for the trip and have 300 things still to do. But somehow I have gotten through a whole lot this afternoon/evening, and I think it’ll be A-Ok. Here’s my badge holder for the show. Not a good pic, but I totally love it. Matilda (my sewing machine) and I made it, so I’m totally feeling proud. =)
Take care Fiskateers, and I’ll see you in about a week!

January 26th, 2007 at 5:55 amLove the badge holder. Maybe when life settles down a little you would share the directions. Much prettier than an ugly old lanyard and the front could be that clear plastic stuff - ummmmmmmmmmmmm

Clarks are the best and most comfortable shoes you can wear.
I have been wearing them for years.
