 Angela (known on-line as SpiderGirl) is a talented crafter, funny, and someone I’m glad to call a friend. This weekend I have the great pleasure of introducing her as our guest blogger. Here is more about her, in her own words.

I have been scrapbooking since I was 7 years old.  Really.  My first scrapbook has Charlie’s Angel’s trading cards in it (I should add:  ORIGINAL ones)!  Then there were the magnetic pages of photos from high school and college followed by the wedding album I frantically threw together 9 years ago to give to my husband as a 1 year anniversary gift.  What has really kicked my scrapbooking into high gear is the birth of my two photo props, err, children.  I like to dabble with different looks and techniques including digital scrapping.  Ever since the stress of the wedding album (and the long, long creative/scrapper’s block that ensued), I scrap for the sake of scrapping which means I don’t worry about chronological order or perfection- I just love having a fast, fun and colorful creative outlet. 

For the past 9 months, a lot of my most inspired pages are for strangers I have never met.  As a designer for the daily internet scrapbook reality show, Scrapbook LifeStyle, I have learned to scrap faster and learn from some very talented and fun women on my team.  Surprising people with scrapbooks that capture events or loved ones in their lives is such a fun experience.  Our new season of shows starts New Year’s day- I hope you’ll enjoy the new format as much as we do!
