Well, Owen has fallen in love with Halloween… it is official! Last year, he went trick or treating, but didn’t really get it. This year he did. He would sneak up to a door, say “shhhh,” then either knock or ring the bell. While waiting we would prep him to say Trick or Treat, only to have the door open and he would yell, “MY CANDY!!!!” Yes, Owen understands the true meaning of Halloween - taking candy from strangers. I love watching the world through his eyes, all so new and fun. It takes my breath away when I let it, and during a few minutes today, it did… The mind of a 2 year old is an amazing thing.
The boys, I think, look very cute and I can’t wait to get my hands on some Rusty Pickle Cap’n Jack paper to scrap all of Owen’s pictures and the Heidi Grace halloween collection will work well for my little spider boy Jacob.
We hope you had a safe, fun, and happy Halloween… from my house to yours - CANDY!!!!!!!!
Live life every minute you can…

November 1st, 2006 at 9:34 pmI saw a lot of cute costumes this year. But if your kids knocked on my door, I would have dumped my entire basket of treats right in to their bags! (Oh, and I too bought the Mr. Potato Head Pirate kit. I couldn’t resist.)
