I had a blast buzzing around today at the Red Bee in Tustin (http://www.theredbee.com/). Karen gave me a big welcome. I had a blast with the ladies there. Such an enthusiastic group of gals that crafted the day away at the Red Bee’s Summer Scraptacular Weekend (it’s not over yet either). I taught a mini class (free make and take) using the Cloud Nine accordion book , Heidi Grace product and the Fiskars drill. What a blast. We had a fun giveaway too! I enjoyed my time there at the Red Bee and the ladies were a great bunch. I love that the Red Bee is for crafters of all kinds . . . those who knit, scrap, bead, etc. Everything under one roof and for scrappers like myself and many of you . . . you like to use unconventional things on your layouts. A great store and great people . . . thanks Karen.
After we left the Red Bee we buzzed on over to the Scrapbook Oasis in Irvine (www.thescrapbookoasis.com) for their CHA crop. You can choose the link on their website to be directed to their blog to hear more about the day’s events. Karen and Wendy were doing a great job showing new product releases from CHA. While I was there they even received a shipment of the new Sassafras papers . . . hot off the press. It was exciting. I was able to do a fun giveaway and visit with some dear friends . . . Debbie, Laura and Lisa. Karen and Wendy are great gals and I appreciate all they do there at the SO. It was a blessing!
My hubby (a.k.a. “Mr. O” ~ http://fiskateers.com/blog/2006/06/23/mr-organization/) assisted me today helping with carrying product, organizing, etc. It was a fun way to spend the day together. I’m tired but wired . . . again it was a great day! I love sharing the Fiskars love and being a part of a great company that puts great tools into the hands of crafters so they can ‘craft their love’. I was able to talk with several people today that also share that feeling . . . love it!
