Go Cubs!

So today we took Jake and Owen to a Cubs game.  www.cubs.com They won, for the first time at home all month, 6-3 against the Brewers.  For Jake’s first game, not too shabby.  I will have to say, as I have written before, there is no place like Wrigley Field.  It is, however, hard to experience the magic, when you are holding a crying 9 month old and trying to convince your 2 year old that being strapped to his booster seat is a good thing.  In the end, they calmed down and Owen was the hit of our section!  He spent the last hour jumping and cheering, “Go Cubs!  Brewers - peeeooooh (while pinching his nose)”  All of the big Cub fans in the section, even the guys, thought he was cute.  (Do I sound like a proud mama - what more can I ask for?)  Anyway, we had a good time and the kids crashed hard-core after the game on the way home.  Maybe, if I am lucky, they will both sleep through the night.  I am posting some cute parent-brag pics, but plan to actually, finally, scrap this Friday so I will post the layout over the weekend.

FYI - I am heading downtown Chi-Town this weekend and will have lots of pretty pics to post, so stay tuned.

On another note, only two days left in the Chipboard Challenge, so you better get a move on.  In the words of my dad, “turn and burn!”

Embrace life - love is there.

    Hi everyone,

    Great pics Steph. I don’t even like baseball (if I did I think I’d be a Sox fan) no offense. These pics make me want to go to a game just for the scrapping possibilities.

    Hey Steph, I got a new catch phrase for ya’.

    Scrapping = life, go live!
