Last weekend we went to Lincoln Park Zoo (http://www.lpzoo.com/ ) and then to Twin Anchors (http://www.twinanchorsribs.com/) for dinner. We had a blast. It does, however, make me have to watch Return to Me, a little film that I love that I feel is totally under-rated. (I watched it the next day while the kids napped!) It was based around and shot in both of these great places in the heart of Chicago. It’s just one of those movies that makes me smile every time I see it. It stars Bonnie Hunt (native Chicagoan and by far, the funniest woman I’ve never met), David Duchovny and Minnie Driver. If you are having a slow week or want a cute date movie, I highly recommend it. Just don’t forget the popcorn and Milk Duds!
